Jersey Tribe provides meaningful social, volunteer and philanthropic opportunities for young Jewish adults in their 20s and 30s across New Jersey. Our members have diverse Jewish backgrounds, come from towns across Northern and Central New Jersey and are a mix of singles, couples and marrieds.
We typically offer two to three events per month and we welcome suggestions and help with activities and nonprofit partners. If you’re tired of racing back to the train after Jewish events in the City, done with defending the Garden State and want to make new friends – then Jersey Tribe is for you!
Jerry Levine is deputy general counsel of FSRDG and a partner at LevineGerba. He likes new restaurants, stuff from Japan, brewing beer, acting, and his cats. Jerry is involved with Jersey Tribe because it brings young Jews (and others) together to do good and be good.
Rebecca Missel is the founder of Jersey Tribe, an affordable, engaging and fun community for young Jewish adults in NJ. She grew up in Arizona and earned her master’s degrees in Baltimore. An avid West African dancer, she works full time as the Manager of Grants Administration at the Union for Reform Judaism.
